Slow-play:



To allure your opponents to thinking you have a weak hand, when in fact you have a strong one. To bet and raise aggressively would indicated a strong hand, thus warning the other players. Simply checking or calling you may stand a beter chance to win more money for the game.





Small Blind:



A bet, usually equal to or half o f the smaller bet limit, which must be placed by the player one seat to the left of the button.





Straight:



5 consecutive cards, for example, 7-8-9-10-J





Straight flush:



5 consecutive cards, for example, 7-8-9-10-J, all of the same suit, perhaps hearts.





Suits:
